Kathryn Zollman

Co-owner & Head Coach

Kathryn was born and raised in Mukilteo, WA. She was a swimmer at Kamiak High School and finished her career as a collegiate swimmer for the University of Alaska Fairbanks before returning home and settling down in Mukilteo. She and her husband, Danny, started doing CrossFit together after getting married in 2012 and she began coaching CrossFit in 2018.

When she isn’t coaching, Kathryn loves spending time outdoors and making memories with her three kids. She is an advocate for fitness during pregnancy and loves helping new, experienced and future moms adjust class workouts to meet their needs and stay fit throughout their pregnancy and beyond. She is passionate about creating a welcoming environment at CrossFit Mukilteo for members to meet their fitness goals and see continuous improvement in their mental and physical health.

Danny Zollman

Co-owner & Coach

Danny is originally from Delta Junction, Alaska. Growing up, he was a well-rounded athlete, competing in Cross Country, Basketball and Football. In 2010, he moved to Washington and decided Mukilteo would be his forever home.

Danny began CrossFit in 2012 and has never looked back! He loves weightlifting and workouts with lots of running. In his spare time, he also enjoys running races, triathlons and spending time with his three kids.

Danny is primarily a morning coach, so you’ll likely see him at 6am! Danny brings the “Fun” to functional fitness and is excited to see you in class soon!

Chantel Doyon

Coach

Chantel is originally from Del Norte, CO. She was a competitive gymnast growing up as well as a modern dancer through college and professionally for several years after. She continually felt drawn towards the physical therapy profession and started PT school in 2017. This is when she began exploring the world of CrossFit and fell in love with it. Not only the movements and community, but also the values that CrossFit instills that so closely aligns with her values as a physical therapist. This led her to begin coaching CrossFit in 2020. She loves workouts with pull-ups or anything upside down. Handstands are her favorite!
